Bootle Bay

The Village

Bootle Bay and the West End village have some awesome experiences to offer other than fishing. Notably, delicious local food and drinks! There are various stops along Queens Highway if you're looking to sample Eddies Famous Gully Wash, Fresh caught conch, local fried fish or even bring your own catch!

Let's Eat!

1. Bootleggers Bar & Grill

       Short walk from the Lodge, located adjacent to blue marlin cove marina. 

2. Eddie's Gullywash.

       Beautiful seaside view that serves the traditional local gullywash cocktail inside devious coconuts. Great music and karaoke. 

3. West End

       Located at Old Bahamas Bay Marina. Serves breakfast and dinner, cooks your fresh catch and can provide family style meals.

4. Da Straw Bar

         Ocean front tiki bar and grill located at Old Bahama Bay Resort. Opens at 11 a.m. COLD drinks on the beach and fresh local dishes.

5. Waves

         Bayside bar and restaurant. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Get there early because their amazing local food sells quickly! Traditional Fish stew or Chicken sauce is a must try.

6. Iries Backyard & Grill

        Restaurant and craft cocktails. Also known for various brunch options, game nights and karaoke!

7. The Porch.

       Walk-up to go window, delicious quick meals on the go. 

8. Shabo's Fresh Conch Stand

       Fresh conch salad and cracked lobster.

If the weather window doesn't include fishing, we've listed some great options that may still be available for you and your crew to explore this beautiful island.
*Note, we do NOT receive any payment from these companies and are NOT responsible for their tours. We would still like to provide our guests at the lodge with awesome adventures that the island has to offer if fishing is not an option for you or maybe your guests don't quite have their sea legs figured out yet.
